Jill brings a rare blend of spiritual depth and marketplace savvy to her work with leaders. After meeting Danny as Third Culture Kids in Hong Kong, they built a life of impact, launching an export business, founding and pastoring a church in Beijing, and walking closely with orphans, NGOs, refugees, and young leaders. Together, they started 3eCoaching in 2013 to help people navigate the same kinds of transitions they’ve faced: loneliness, serial moves, cultural tensions, marriage struggles, and parenting TCKs.

He and his wife Jill met as Third Culture Kids in Hong Kong and later moved to Beijing, where they built an export company across five cities and founded a thriving church community. As co-founder of 3eCoaching, Danny has walked alongside leaders facing transition, crisis, and deep personal change.
As Wise Counsel, Danny offers transition coaching, sabbatical support, life direction, and business coaching, always rooted in a calm presence and strategic discernment. Leaders turn to him for clarity when the stakes are high and a grounded voice when it’s time to realign.
Our History
My name is Edy Herrera. Regent University brought me to Hampton Roads in 2010, and since then, my heart has been deeply rooted in serving this community. My journey into leadership development was shaped by a passion for creating spaces where leaders can thrive where love and freedom guide every decision, every conversation, and every transformation.
I founded Surrender Network Leadership Development because I believe leadership is not just about strategy and execution it’s about the people behind the vision. True leadership is about surrendering to a higher purpose, stepping into authentic influence, and fostering environments where individuals feel a deep sense of belonging and purpose.
Throughout my years of working with executives, I’ve witnessed a common challenge: leaders striving for high performance without realizing that sustainable success comes from leading with intentionality and awareness. I saw a need for a coaching framework that helps leaders not just manage teams, but truly transform them by building trust, fostering growth, and embracing their unique calling.
