Summertime Essentials: Fuel Through Fellowship
Do things (especially fun things) together!
Summer has a way of slowing us down just enough to remember what matters most.
The backyard cookouts, family vacations, evenings on the porch, neighborhood walks, and conversations around the dinner table aren't interruptions to life - they're part of living it well.
Just as your body needs water, nourishing food, and sunshine, your heart needs healthy relationships.
The people you spend time with shape your perspective, influence your habits, encourage your growth, and often carry you through life's hardest seasons.
The return on those investments lasts far longer than summer.
Research consistently shows that strong social relationships are associated with better physical health, lower stress, greater resilience, lower rates of depression, improved cardiovascular health, and even longer life expectancy.
Leadership has never been about accomplishing more alone.
It's about building relationships strong enough to accomplish meaningful things together.
CHALLENGE OF THE WEEK:
Grab a Battle Buddy!
Besides your needed alone time this week, intentionally invest in 1-2 key relationships; hang out, video chat, play a game etc.
NEXT STEPS:
As you come along this weekly year-long journey, I invite you to a complimentary 90-minute taste at what it looks like to experience a Healthy Culture in your teams, organizations, and homes. Find out more about our Healthy Culture Seminar through this link.
