all support healthier brain function, sharper thinking, emotional regulation, and long-term resilience.

In leadership and life, a strong mind helps you:

  • make clearer decisions

  • continue growing through challenges

Just like the rest of your body, the brain strengthens through intentional repetition and healthy habits.

A healthy leader consistently sharpens the mind that drives everything else.

There is so much left to be said, but let’s explore some tips for building a strong mind.

CHALLENGE OF THE WEEK:

  • In addition to staying consistent in physical exercise, try these!

    • Say it Backward!

      • Say the alphabet out loud backward. Count backward from 100 in intervals of 7.

    • Free Brain Game Phone Apps

      • Lumosity for fun brain exercises, duolingo for learning a new language 101. So many more!

    • Recovery

      • I know your lives are extremely busy, but just for 7 days, try to get 1-2 more hours of sleep than you are used to. This takes great effort but I believe in you!

REFLECTION:

  • Do you believe you have a strong and sound mind?

  • Have you felt any fogginess, lethargy, forgetfulness, or slowed reaction?

  • Have you ever considered how much the state of your mind and thinking affects how you show up?
