Fuel Stabilization: Blood Sugar & Energy Consistency.

Have you ever considered why you are eating (or not eating) in that moment?

Studies show many people eat not for real fuel, but for comfort - emotional eating.

This often creates a self-inflicted energy crash.

Skipped meals or overeating…

high-sugar or highly processed snacks…

and excessive caffeine cause blood sugar swings that mimic stress.

Cortisol rises, patience drops, and clarity suffers.

Regardless of your current habits, the goal of nutrition stabilization is consistent, quality fuel.

Stabilizing insulin, cholesterol, and cortisol through proper nutrition helps the body function as it was designed.

Research shows consistent, balanced nutrition lowers stress and supports emotional well-being.

CHALLENGE OF THE WEEK:

Stabilize your fuel source with some of these tips for one week:

  • Sugar intake: Eat only 2 TBS of raw honey/day or 100% Maple syrup mixed in whatever you like. Avoid all other sugars that are not fruit. Honey is a natural energy booster

  • Fruits: Eat only berries, grapefruit, lemon, lime, or cherries

  • Veggies: Eat veggies in every meal. (Raw or freshed pressed veggie juice is a great add on!)

  • Dairy: Consider substituting regular milk products with goat's milk, sheep's milk, or A2 protein type. Kefir is also a great dairy probiotic inclusion for digestion. It’s my go-to.

  • Carbs: Whole grains (quinoa, farro, barley, spelt, oats, Whole-Grain Sourdough is the best bread! (everything in moderation of course)
